Errands

Yesterday was all about work, work, work.. Whew!!! Been doing so much errands the past few days. My legs are seriously aching pretty bad from everything. Looking on the brightside, its almost the weekend! Well, I actually have work on saturday, but oh well.. I'm definitely gonna stick myself to my bed on sunday! Hehe.

Here are more pictures of my out of town trip 2 weeks ago. The weather was absolutely perfect that day! The sun was out and there was this relaxing breeze that would come in every few minutes. Writing about this now makes me think how important it is to get away once in awhile. Its definitely the best way to keep your sanity intact! LOL. Seriously though, this trip really put a lot of weight off my shoulders. Working a lot with no break is a big no, no from now on! Overnight trips every other month or so is a necessity.

Finally out of town!!! Been itching to get out of Manila! So nice to get out of the busy city! Went to Punta Fuego for more family time! Yay to bonding! :)

Went on a dive today. It's been a really long time since I've been on one. We dont have any of our personal gear anymore so we had to improvise. Haha!

Chillin' after a good dive. Haven't been under the sun in awhile. Feels so good and relaxing! Serenity... Hehe..

Guess what's a good thing to do after a good dive? Eating! Haha! For some reason food taste so much better after scuba diving. Lol. As usual we get a margarita pizza with some yummy fries!

The Teddy Bear Story

It was Claud's 28th birthday yesterday! She celebrated it in her new restaurant, Shine,  located in SM Aura. 

Special thanks to Nikki, Matthew and Jon for taking pics. Hehe!

Went for a french braid today. Finally know how to make one! Hehe.. Sorry if its messy.. :P

Here's the restaurant we celebrated in! Absolutely love the whole whimsical theme they have going on. Super cute place to dine in and the food is amazing! Let me give you the lowdown!

My sister made her own menu so you could choose from her favorite dishes in the restaurant. I got the truffle carbonara, which was spectacular! Couldn't get enough of it! 

You could also order take out for their yummy pastries! The eclairs and cupcakes are to die for!

SM Aura for me has the best store selections! Almost all my favorite stores in one mall! Heaven to shop in! Hehe. They have Miss Selfridge, Forever 21, Cotton On, Bershka, Stradivarius and Topshop. The only stores missing were Mango and Zara. 

Wondering what my title was all about? For some weird reason me and my whole family was outside the restaurant for about 30 minutes or more. For fun we took a lot of shots with the teddy bear that my brother gave to my sister for her birthday. Yes, we were really bored. When I was loading all the pictures on my laptop, I thought all the pics connected somehow. Haha! Anyway, here it is. The teddy bear story:

Danie: Weirdo!

Claud: Danie doesn't have a teddy bear! Ne-ne-ne-ne-ne! 

Danie: I can't believe you said that!

Claud: Well I did! So what you gonna do bout' it?

Danie: My teddy bear!

Claud: No! My teddy bear!

Ugh... What a day this was! Swear, bazaar season is the most exhausting time of the year for me. All the boot set-up a carrying of stocks. Can you say weights and workout? Haha. Anyway... I was such in a hurry to do everything this morning, thus the haggard look. Congrats to my sister, Claud for another successful bazaar. What's great about the Greenmeadows Christmas Rush Bazaar was the 50%-70% SALE on all the items on the last 2 hours of the bazaar. Super awesome! I was able to get most of the clothes I wanted for P150-P200 only. So affordable right??? So if you weren't able to catch it last week, better save the date next year! Its usually the weekend before Christmas! :)

 

Actually got quite a lot of items from this booth. I think I got a rumper and a few tops for only P250-P300. The line is called Doozy and you could check out their facebook and instagram if you need some cute everyday clothes. The owners are also super friendly! They even posed when I took a shot of their booth. Hehe. :P

Wore this a few days to go for basic sewing and pattern making class. The topic for the day was basic skirt pattern. Oh my, oh my was it hard!!! It took my 3 hours just to do the whole thing! Went crazy with all the fractions involved in making the pattern. 

This ring was given to me by my sister, Loralee. She said its our sister ring.. Whatta sister ring.. Haha!

Here's the pattern I made. Can't believe it took me 3 hours to do... Ugh.. So confusing.. Hopefully it gets easier for me real soon.
