Errands

Yesterday was all about work, work, work.. Whew!!! Been doing so much errands the past few days. My legs are seriously aching pretty bad from everything. Looking on the brightside, its almost the weekend! Well, I actually have work on saturday, but oh well.. I'm definitely gonna stick myself to my bed on sunday! Hehe.

Here are more pictures of my out of town trip 2 weeks ago. The weather was absolutely perfect that day! The sun was out and there was this relaxing breeze that would come in every few minutes. Writing about this now makes me think how important it is to get away once in awhile. Its definitely the best way to keep your sanity intact! LOL. Seriously though, this trip really put a lot of weight off my shoulders. Working a lot with no break is a big no, no from now on! Overnight trips every other month or so is a necessity.

Dance Until Dawn

Ugh... What a day this was! Swear, bazaar season is the most exhausting time of the year for me. All the boot set-up a carrying of stocks. Can you say weights and workout? Haha. Anyway... I was such in a hurry to do everything this morning, thus the haggard look. Congrats to my sister, Claud for another successful bazaar. What's great about the Greenmeadows Christmas Rush Bazaar was the 50%-70% SALE on all the items on the last 2 hours of the bazaar. Super awesome! I was able to get most of the clothes I wanted for P150-P200 only. So affordable right??? So if you weren't able to catch it last week, better save the date next year! Its usually the weekend before Christmas! :)

 

Actually got quite a lot of items from this booth. I think I got a rumper and a few tops for only P250-P300. The line is called Doozy and you could check out their facebook and instagram if you need some cute everyday clothes. The owners are also super friendly! They even posed when I took a shot of their booth. Hehe. :P

Wore this a few days to go for basic sewing and pattern making class. The topic for the day was basic skirt pattern. Oh my, oh my was it hard!!! It took my 3 hours just to do the whole thing! Went crazy with all the fractions involved in making the pattern. 

This ring was given to me by my sister, Loralee. She said its our sister ring.. Whatta sister ring.. Haha!

Here's the pattern I made. Can't believe it took me 3 hours to do... Ugh.. So confusing.. Hopefully it gets easier for me real soon.

Had off-ice practice today with skating friends. Felt bad because the opening of the SM Megamall Rink was suppose to be this December. Unfortunately, we were informed last week that it was moved again to January. The dance and costume was suppose to be Christmas themed since its December. Now we have to change everything. Oh well... Was really excited...

On the bright side, our new dance is off the hook! Haha! Love the new set of songs! It really shows our era and it's so us! Hope I could post a preview soon! 

You see the white bracelet? The pendant is an "evil eye". Its suppose to ward off bad spirits or something I think. Its a bracelet me and my cousin got from Turkey. Cool huh? 

Fun fact! I don't know if you guys notice, but I wear flats a lot. Anyway, I got these flats from Cotton On at only P600 because it was buy one get one at P1,200. So affordable right??? I got another one in nude, but sadly it got worn out from me using it all the time. Sad... 

When wearing flats like these its cute to wear a bright nail polish that can be seen through the lace.

M.I. Kids Can

My little brother is grade 4 in Multiple Intelligence International School. Every year the school organizes an event for their students called, "Kids Can". This is where each grade and section comes up with a product to sell in their respective booths. Its great how M.I. encourages their kids to be young entrepreneurs. Entrepreneurial skills are definitely a good thing to develop at a young age.

Here are photos of what the students were selling. Most or all I believe are handmade by the students themselves. Cool huh? 

Each product has the name of the student who took the time and effort to make it.

Awesome to see these young students working really hard to make a sale. You see a lot of them going around and sales talking the parents, teachers, etc.

 A lot of games were set up for the children. This I have to say is something new. Its a point system game where you have to put the ball in the basket. There's a catch though, you pull each other to get closer to the basket. Its a really fun and funny game! 

There was also a bingo by the end of the event. Felt really bad though because the prizes were to die for and I didn't win any of the games. Their bingo consisted of 10 rounds with trips and gadgets as prizes.
