You may not know this about me, but I use to be a figure skater. Well actually I still skate from time to time, but sadly not competitively anymore. Started skating when I was 9 and retired at about 18 years old. Skating is definitely something I'm passionate about. Among all the things I've done I think ice skating would be that one thing I would always find myself going back to. I think the reason why I enjoy it so much is because it offers everything you could ask for in a sport. It develops and increases your strength, flexibility, grace and so much more! Ofcourse I have to say that this wonderful sport has definitely made me a better person. Probably wouldn't have achieved as much if it wasn't for skating.
The only negative thing about getting into this sport are the expenses. Apparently, skating is the second most expensive sport. I know my skates look ugly already, but as much as I want to buy new ones I can't. Its just too expensive to buy a new pair given that I don't skate as much and compete at all anymore.
All of us "retired" skaters of Megamall Skating Rink are practicing for a performance we'll be doing this December! Will let you guys know once details are finalized! So excited!

Decided we couldn't go all the way outside to sit. That's how exhausted we were. Have no idea how we use to skate the whole day while jumping and twirling around. To think that we hardly did any jumps or spins today.

Another reason why I love and I'm so thankful for skating is because of this crazy bunch. The ice is where I met my second family, the best group of people you could ever meet!

Before going home me and a few friends tried Mochi Sweets. They sell mochi covered ice cream in assorted flavors. One thing I don't like about mochi covered ice cream was the waiting. You usually have to wait for the mochi to defrost a little before taking a bite. What I liked about Mochi Sweets was that I didn't have to wait at all. I could eat it as soon as I got it. I mean, how could you wait to eat something that you know is so yummy and that's right infront of you?
Mochi Sweets has got loads of flavors you could choose from. The sales lady told me that green tea was one of their best sellers. I've always loved green tea so thats what I got. Gotta tell you guys that it was really good! If ever you want to try their mochi covered ice cream you could visit them at the ground floor of Mall Of Asia, near the skating rink and Surplus.
